What is the lumen output on a 150 watt LED grow bar?
A lumen is the unit measurement of visible light, not a measurement of usable light the plant can turn into chlorophyll. In terms of lumens, traditional High Pressure Sodium (HPS) and Metal Halide (MH) systems work harder to imitate the sun, drawing thousands of watts of energy from your power grid, and thus producing a large amount of visible light, or lumens. LEDs work smarter to imitate the sun, not harder. The Grow Goddess 600 units produce tuned in wavelengths of the light spectrum (red, deep red, blue, sunburst orange, brilliant white) your garden actually uses to complete photosynthesis, while drawing less than a third of the energy HPS and MH systems use to produce the same light. Lumens simply do not accurately measure the usable light of LED technology.

What does a 150 watt LED unit compare to?
The Grow Goddess 600 grow bars put out the same usable light as a 600 watt HPS or MH bulb. Some customers have pitted one 150 watt unit to 800-1000 watts of HPS light with equal results.

How high should I hang my Grow Goddess 600 LED grow bar?
For optimal light usage, each 150 watt unit optimally covers a 6ft x 4ft area, or 24 sq. ft. Industrial gardens have hung these grow bars as high as 10 feet for maximum coverage. What this issue comes down to is what you're individually growing. Different plants need different amounts of light in order to flourish. Find out what spectrum of light and how much light your crop naturally uses and you'll find which style of Grow Goddess will work best for your garden and how many you'll need to maximize yield.

What sets the Grow Goddess 600 apart from other LEDs?
There are three main advantages to this style of LED grow bar.

The actual shape of the light, 39.4" x 4.5" x 4.5" allows for maximum coverage of your grow room, casting a large, rectangular grow space which circular UFO units and small, square LED units can't match.

Each individual 3 watt LED bulb in all Grow Goddess 600 units penetrate your garden's canopy exponentially deeper than older, 1 watt LED bulbs, which have been the industry standard up until now. This translates to light coverage for the most buried leaves of your plant, and thus more food for your plant. More food for your plant means more yield to you.

The durability of this industrial style of grow bar outshines the competition by far. Steel casing and clean, plug-and-play electrical work make for a long lasting, resilient grow light. Grow Goddess offers a 60 day satisfaction guarantee, so you the grower can see first hand what LEDs will do for your crop, and a 1 year warranty on all manufactures defects under normal use.

How close can I hang my LED grow bar to the plant canopy?
LEDs will not burn your plants! One of the biggest advantages of LED grow lights is the lack of heat they put out. Forget about burn spots and grow room temperature nightmares. Hang your LED as close to the plant without actually touching the leaf and watch your garden flourish!

Are these lights full spectrum?
Our vegetative light is a 5 band light, and provides as close to a full spectrum as possible without wasting light the plant doesn't use. However, the majority of light the plant uses are red and blue wavelengths, so a fuller spectrum might end up giving the plants that extra boost they need, but most likely you could see the same results by increasing the blue or red spectrum.

Will the light need some sort of cooling system?
These grow bars have a built-in inline fan that dissipates the minimal heat they actually put out, simply to protect the hardware in the light. They will not increase or decrease the temperature of your actual grow space

I grow outdoors/in a garage/basement and need the heat from my HID lamps. How can I keep my grow space warm?
Depending on your HID lights to heat your grow space is one of the most inefficient methods to keep your garden at an optimal, steady temperature. It's easy to understand you think you're killing two birds with one stone (lighting and heating), but a grower pays out the nose for the energy it takes to run a grow space that way.

Where are the LED units manufactured?
Grow Goddess lights are made in China.
